Crocker awarded honorary membership to Polish Acoustical Society

Malcolm Crocker, Distinguished University Professor in Auburn University's Department of Mechanical Engineering, has been awarded an honorary membership to the Polish Acoustical Society. The award will be presented during the organization's opening seminar on acoustics, held in Poland in September. During the opening ceremony, Crocker will present a lecture on his scientific achievements.

Crocker holds a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering and a master's degree in noise and vibration studies from Southampton University in England. He received his doctoral degree in engineering science and acoustics from Liverpool University in England. He has 27 years of experience in mechanical engineering at Auburn. Crocker is also executive director of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration and editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Acoustics and Vibration.
