Mario Eden, Charles Solvason awards

Mario Eden, Mary and John Sanders associate professor in Auburn University's Department of Chemical Engineering, recently accompanied students to the international conference on the Foundations of Computer-Aided Process Design (FOCAPD). There, he and student, Charles Solvason were recognized for their participation and presentations. Eden received the award for best faculty contribution, while Solvason received the best student contribution award. Eden's group conducted six presentations at the conference. FOCAPD is the premier conference focusing on fundamentals and applications of computer-aided design. It is held every five years.
