Aerospace engineering students Ran Dai, Ryan Sherrill and Mana Vautier recently won the graduate division of the student poster competition at the American Astronautical Society national conference held in Houston, Texas. Their poster outlined their combined research of accurate simulation of lunar transfer trajectories and optimal design of Mars transfer trajectories. The team utilized the conference theme, "Celebrating 50 Years of Space, but What's Next?" The students will share a $1,000 award.
