An article by R.E. Jackson, a graduate student in electrical engineering, and Ramesh Ramadoss, an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been downloaded 250 times from the Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering in its first 29 days since publication. To put this into context, across all journals by Institute of Physics publishing, only 10 percent of articles were accessed over 250 times this quarter.

"Journals published by the Institute of Physics are highly competitive," says Ramadoss. "It is an honor to simply be published, let alone accessed as many times as our article has been."

The article, "A MEMS-based electrostatically tunable circular microstrip patch antenna," can be found at http://stacks.iop.org/0960-1317/17/1
