The annual meeting of the Auburn Pulp and Paper Foundation will be held October 5-6, at the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. The Alabama Center for Paper and Bioresource Engineering will be presenting information about the status of research in the field of biorefining and its potential industry applications. The event will also showcase the foundation's work in providing engineers to the pulp and paper industry and will give attendees the opportunity to meet participating students as potential interns or employees. The keynote address of the event will be presented by George Landegger, chairman of Parsons and Whittemore, one of the world's largest producers of market pulp.
