Harry Cullinan, director of the Pulp and Paper Research Education Center, has received distinguished designations from two professional associations.

Cullinan, professor in chemical engineering, was elected to the board of directors of the Paper Industry Management Association (PIMA) and appointed chairman of PIMA's education and training committee. He has also been designated as an expert of international standing by the Australian Research Council College of Experts.

"I am extremely pleased to have received both honors," Cullinan said. "PIMA is the world leader in providing advanced training and education to the paper industry and the Australian Research Council is also a prestigious organization. It will be a pleasure serving in these capacities."
