The industrial and systems engineering curriculum prepares students for professional practice through case studies, real-world projects and open-ended homework problems that develop students’ engineering and design skills. Students have the opportunity to study mathematical, physical and social sciences, economic, technical and human performance considerations in design and analysis, industrial and service systems, stochastic and deterministic operations research, engineering economy, and operations planning and manufacturing systems.
