How to apply

Fellowship application is a part of the graduate school application process. You will not be considered for a fellowship until you apply and are accepted to the graduate school 

How to apply:
  1. Choose an academic program. Students are encouraged to contact individual faculty members to discuss available research opportunities. Use the faculty expertise search to identify a faculty member who matches your interest.
  2. Take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
  3. Complete the online graduate school application.
  4. An email confirmation will be sent to you indicating that your application has been received.
  5. We suggest you also attend one of our graduate student recruitment events.
Application deadlines:
  • Dean's or College Fellowships: Target deadline: End of January each year. Applicants are encouraged to apply before this date to make it easier to schedule their on-campus visit.
