Student Services
The Office of Engineering Student Services provides support to prospective students and currently enrolled undergraduate students. Services include:- K-12 Outreach, Recruiting, and Scholarships
- Organization of K-12 Outreach events throughout the year, including E-day, Engineering Summer Camps, PEAK, TEAMS, school group visits, and more.
- Recruitment of undergraduate students through visits to high school college day fairs, junior college transfer fairs, on-campus visitation days and other venues that provide contact with prospective students
- Awarding of
College of Engineering and departmental scholarships
- Academic Advising
- Assisting entering freshman with schedule planning and registration during Camp War Eagle
- Assisting incoming transfer students with schedule planning and registration during SOS Orientation
- Advising of pre-engineering students in multiple disciplines
- Peer Advising with current Engineering undergraduate students
- Peer Mentorship Program
- Management of undergraduate Engineering students’ academic records and graduation credit checks
- Provide information on campus resources
- Academic Support and Engineering Tutorial
- Academic coaching and development of
success plans for academically at-risk students - Free individual and group tutoring in over 50 courses included in College of Engineering curriculums
- Academic coaching and development of
- Engineering Global Programs
- Study Abroad in an exchange program or with a short-term faculty-led program
- Service-Learning Programs (Engineers Without Borders)
