Chemical Engineering Hosts Y.E.S. Nanotechnology Camp for Girls

Virginia A. Davis, assistant professor in Auburn University's Department of Chemical Engineering, recently hosted a new Youth Experiences in Science (Y.E.S.) Camp entitled, "The NanoWorld is Big." It was the first nanotechnology-related outreach camp hosted by Auburn and was part of the first all-girls Y.E.S. Camp. NCAT to Host Pavement Test Tack Conference

NCAT Test TrackThe National Center for Asphalt Technology at Auburn University (NCAT) will host the third Pavement Test Track Conference on Feb. 9-11, 2009 at the Auburn Marriott Opelika Hotel and Conference Center at Grand National. The two-day meeting will highlight research findings from NCAT's 1.7-mile test track. Participants will have a chance to tour the track, hear researchers and Department of Transportation (DOT) engineers discuss their latest results and observe how they are being put into practice.
