LITEE Hosts Workshop for Business and Engineering Faculty

The Laboratory for Innovative Technology and Engineering Education (LITEE) hosted a workshop for engineering and business faculty members from a wide variety of universities on March 2-3 in Ross Hall. The workshop showcased LITEE case studies and up-to-date video conferencing and team working facilities available at the LITEE laboratory — a facility equipped with four team-working clusters that provide participants the opportunities to discuss, debate and share their work interactively on large LCD screens.

More than thirty participants from across the country attended this workshop. Keynote speakers included Frank Barnes, NAE member from the University of Colorado; Alain Gerard, professor and Vice President of International Affairs at the University of Bourdeau, France; Victor Mbarika, professor of E-commerce at Southern University; and Judith Norback, Director of Workforce and Academic Communication at Georgia Institute of Technology.
