The Laboratory for Innovative Technology and Engineering Education (LITEE) hosted a workshop for engineering and business faculty members from a wide variety of universities on March 2-3 in Ross Hall. The workshop showcased LITEE case studies and up-to-date video conferencing and team working facilities available at the LITEE laboratory ? a facility equipped with four team-working clusters that provide participants the opportunities to discuss, debate and share their work interactively on large LCD screens. If your child is creative, likes to know how things work and loves math and science, solving problems and working with a team of people then you might want to consider TIGER's Camp (Teams and Individuals Guided by Engineering Resources). This resident camp, offered by the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, is designed to expose students in grades 7-10 to the world of engineering.
