Fasina Recognized at ASABE International Meeting

Oladiran FasinaOladiran Fasina, associate professor in the Department of Biosystems Engineering, received two prestigious awards at this year's international meeting of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). Fasina was honored with a presidential citation and a standards development award for leading the successful development of the new international standard, "ASABE/ANSI S593 Terminology and Definitions for Biomass Production, Harvesting and Collection, Storage, Processing, Conversion and Utilization." Davis Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering, has been elected chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Test Technology Technical Council (TTTC). Focusing on testing, reliability and quality assurance of integrated circuits and systems, the TTTC is one of the largest and most active of the 40 technical councils and societies within IEEE.
