Students at TIGERs campTIGERs Camp (Rising 9th and 10th graders - June 15-20; Rising 7th and 8th graders - June 22-27)  -- Designed to expose students in grades 7-10 to the world of engineering. Engineers make the world a better place by designing things that make life easier, safer or that protect the environment.  Yet, studies show that middle school students know very little about careers in engineering. Camp activities include workshops, tours and lectures guided by engineers and engineering students who will answer questions about what courses students need to take in middle and high school to prepare them for success in college and a fulfilling career in engineering.  Students participate in a number of hands-on activities in a variety of engineering disciplines.  24-hour supervision is provided by experienced counselors. The camp will be conducted by faculty, staff and students from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.
