Roberts Joins Editorial Board of Elsevier Journal

Christopher RobertsChristopher Roberts, Uthlaut professor and chair of the Department of Chemical Engineering at Auburn University, has accepted an invitation to join the editorial board of Fluid Phase Equilibria, an Elsevier scientific journal. Fluid Phase Equilibria publishes high-quality papers dealing with experimental, theoretical and applied research related to equilibrium and transport properties of fluid and solid phases. Roberts will be a part of the highly regarded international editorial group that supports the journals activities. Read full story.

Gue Paper Second in Material Handling Competition

Kevin Gue, associate professor in industrial and systems engineering, was awarded second place in the 2006 Outstanding Material Handling Research Paper competition. The awards, given by the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA) and the College Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE), are given biannually to recognize excellence in material handling-related research.
