Providing Leading-Edge Transportation Research at Auburn

Traffic jam (small version)Paul and Marilyn Box of Scottsdale, Ariz., recently endowed a grant from their estate to create a transportation research trust in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University. The trust will support research in the areas of traffic generation, parking facilities and accident field studies. Funding will also provide undergraduate and graduate fellowships for students in transportation-related areas. Read more >>

Elements of ME Conference A Success

The fifth annual Elements of Mechanical Engineering Conference held at the Marriott Lodge and Conference Center in Opelika gave alumni a chance to learn more about departmental activities, have input into the department?s future, and attend technical sessions on fundamental and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering.
