SAE Formula Team Places Second in Design Finals in CA Competition
Auburn's Baja team is not the only SAE team that did well this year. The SAE Formula team also had a good showing at the SAE west competition in Ontario, Calif.,
where they placed second in design and third overall.
"It was an exciting event this year with some tough competition in a really great venue," says Rob Wilmont, chief engineering and aerospace engineering graduate. "We are very proud of the car we designed, and thrilled with our standing the top three."
