The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) recently announced that the SciAutonics/Auburn Engineering team will be among the semifinalists for DARPA's Urban Challenge. Only 53 of the competition's original 89 teams moved on to the next phase of the competition. The team is led by Robert Daily, a doctoral student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
