The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Auburn University invites applications for a full-time, nontenure-track lecturer beginning with the Fall 2017 semester. This appointment is for a minimum of nine months, with potential opportunities for summer funding, and is renewable annually. The primary responsibility of this position is to teach a variety of undergraduate electrical and computer engineering courses. The successful candidate is expected to bring experience, innovation, enthusiasm, technology, and leadership to the courses. A typical teaching load will be three courses per semester, which includes course and laboratory preparation and delivery. In addition to instructional duties, successful candidates will contribute to the instructional mission of the department through participation on faculty committees. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Lecturers have the potential for promotion to Senior Lecturer after five years of employment in which exceptional teaching ability and extraordinary value to the institution is demonstrated.
