Pre-Engineering Requirements

The following details the requirements for pre-engineering students to move into major. These requirements have to be completed by the end of the second year (or four semesters):

  • Completion of two calculus courses
  • Completion of two sciences with appropriate labs
  • Completion of the course COMP1200 Introduction to Programming
  • Completion of the courses ENGR1100 Orientation to Engineering and ENGR1110 Introduction to Engineering
  • Sophomore standing, the completion of 31 hours
  • 2.2 cumulative GPA
