"The twofold mission of the Thomas Walter Center for Technology Management is to develop university curriculum materials and to research topics at the interface of traditional business and engineering programs through industrial involvement at the local, national and international levels."

GOALS

• Develop and maintain a distinctive minor for teaching new product launch through teamwork to undergraduate students in both colleges using faculty teams.

• Promote faculty development in the two colleges through teamwork in problem solving, curriculum development, teaching and research.

• Develop and support research on technology management issues to assist industry and public policy.

• Assist Auburn University to commercialize new inventions while training teams of graduate business and engineering students to acquire commercialization skills.
