Auburn Student Inventors Club

Starting Spring 2010, this is a newly-formed student club in the Auburn University Campus to operate as one of the many student clubs of the AU SGA.


Mission:
To bring together all AU students with interest in inventing, patenting and commercializing new ideas. To educate and promote invention and innovation among AU students, help them protect their intellectual property, enable patenting where appropriate, and give national networking opportunities with like-minded students and inventors in the USA and abroad.


Who Could Join?
Any AU Student, with or without an invention. Click here for membership application.


Faculty Advisor:
Prof. Paul Swamidass, Professor of Operations Management, and Director of the Thomas Walter Center.


Legal Consultant:
Mr. A.J. Gokchek, Patent Attorney, Associate Director for IP Affairs and Compliance, Auburn University.
