This month's two MRI Research Center Safety Seminars for Level-1 qualification will be presented on Monday, May 14, and Tuesday, May 22, 3:30 to 4:30 PM, at the MRI Research Center Conference Room (2nd floor).
Our facility is at 560 Devall Drive, Suite 202. Once you're in Suite 202, it won't be hard to find help to guide you to the Conference Room.

This Safety Seminar will cover the following topic areas:
Level 1: Familiar with the basic safety issues involved in working with an MRI scanner. Can enter the MRI suite and scanner room without escort or safety screening.
REQUIREMENTS: Attend MRI Safety Seminar.
Level 2: Familiar with the broader aspects of MRI safety. Can screen and authorize someone to enter the MRI suite. Can conduct human subjects research with the MRI scanner with IRB approval.
REQUIREMENTS: Attend MRI Safety Seminar, complete CITI human subjects training, and review the MRI Center Safety Plan.
Level 3: Authorized and trained to operate the MRI scanner.

All attending this seminar will be signed off at Level 1 by the end of the seminar. Those pursuing Level 2 or 3 qualification will receive additional "homework" assigned training for after the seminar.
There is no charge for these Safety Seminars and they will be offered every first Monday and third Tuesday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 PM in the MRI Center Conference Room.
