What is the Alabama Power Academic Excellence Minority Engineering Visitation Day?

The Alabama Power Academic Excellence Minority Visitation Day is an invite-only campus exploration day for outstanding prospective minority students.  During this day students will have a chance to interact with current students, faculty and staff.  Students will also have an opportunity to explore academic options, learn about student life, go on a student-guided tour of campus and the Shelby Center of Engineering Technology, and join us in an interactive lunch session.

Will I be able to meet with an Admissions Advisor?

Yes. Time is allotted in the program to visit with staff from the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, Student Financial Aid Services, and University/College of Engineering Scholarships.

Is there a fee to attend?

No. There is no fee for the event. Lunch is provided for all guests.

Can I bring a parent or other relative?

Yes. Due to limited space, two guests allowed per student. Other questions can be emailed to campbcy@auburn.edu.
